Web Design and Development Process

At Webolution Designs™, we do not simply "dive into" the development and design of a site. We desire to know your organization and its respective needs. Typically we view this as a process of discovery. We would ponder questions such as...

• What is the purpose(s) and or goal(s) you hope to achieve by having a website?
• What needs do you hope to fulfill...both internal and external?

The next phase is to discuss the integration of your site into your organization's mission/vision. A website should never be a "silo" project. Instead of standing alone, it should be an extension of who you are and what you hope to accomplish.

After we know what purpose we hope to attain and how it will integrate into your organizational goals, we turn our attention to preparation and vision. Even though the internet is always evolving, a long term perspective should be taken into account. The reason for doing this is to look at the initial development of a site or project as a step along a path. There could be some items that can be addressed today that will make hurdles lower in the future.

The last step before beginning the design and development of a web site is really more of an over-arching topic...the audience. It is important to remember who the audience is that will be utilizing the site and design it accordingly.
